Default sensor on the driver side head?

I'm not sure what this part is called and I will get a picture of it tonight when I go to my shop but does any one know what that sensor is called on the driver side that is on the head. Its on the the side of the head on the front. I was taking out my headers and hit that sensor and broke. Like I said I will get a picture of it later so its would be easier to see what I'm talking about. If any one knows that would be great.
