Default Borla Exhaust is awesome

This isn't much of a technical thread but more of an appreciative thread. It just seems like nowadays we read more about the bad things businesses do than good and I certainly have some good to say.

I have owned Borla on my 96 Corvette, the wifes 2000 WS6 and my 02 Z28. When I got my kit last year, I had some slight issues with it so I contacted Borla and worked with Chris Mann. In short order, he solved every issue I had and went above and beyond to meet customer satisfaction.

In doing so, he has kept me as a lifelong customer and I just wanted to pass it along. Now that times are a little tougher, it really is refreshing to know that some companies still strive for excellence and I will be the first to say, every penny I've ever spent on Borla parts has been more than worth it.

I always get compliments on my car for various things I've done to it, but the one constant I always get good feedback for is the way it sounds.

Anyway, I'm heading downstairs now to get this bad boy installed. Pics and soundclips to follow in the coming days.

I emailed Borla a couple of times about a muffler rusting on an F-body exhaust and never got a reply. Glad it worked out for you.

I bought my Borla Adjustable(e-cutout replacing plates) from a member on ls1tech used over a year ago, never had a problem with it. The borla's sound sweet, very deep sound, with the plate fully open. I never close the plate either, there's no need. I'm gonna probably be selling it in a couple of months when I go duals.

Had a borla on my lt1 and it sounded awesome. However, one thing that pissed me off was that I wanted to get part of the exhaust to fix something the previous owner did, but they wouldn't just sell me a part of the exhaust, they would only sell me an entire new catback.

I took a mothers powerball to a section of the new muffler for about 20 seconds and can see some reflection! Anyway, got it installed and it's sweet!
