Default 2 wire oil level sender in oil pan

This wire is realy getting in the was with my swap and tore out of the plug. I really dont need a oil level sender in the oil pan . Is there anyway to move this wire up to the harness and not use the sender in the pan. Does it act like a switch and i can just tie these together so it acts like it is hooked up still.

any help would be great guys

thanks

All that sender does is make a light come on when the oil level is low. You don't need it for a conversion, at all.

the wires on mine got pulled out right at the sending unit thing. Just tied them together to put the light away
