whats the best way to remove the oil dipstick tube? trying to put my lt's on and i got to remove the tube to get my passenger side manifold off. thanks for the help guys

Follow the dip stick tube down the head and you'll see a bolt holding the tube to the head. Remove that bolt and then twist and pull the tube out of the block, there is a O ring where the tube goes into the block.

Mine wouldn't budge either. I ended up prying and pulling from the bottom with vise grips and a flathead. I fucked it up, but I got it out. It's a 14$ part from any GM dealer, not too bad.

I used a flathead on the rib down at the bottem and tapped it just a bit lightly with a hammer. I figgured I would jack mine up but I didn't and got to reuse it.
