Big oil leak after LS6 intake swap. It's now fixed!!!
I put on a LS6 intake last weekend. Yup, I broke the oil pressure sending unit. Got a new one. I started my car today and it was leaking oil under the car. Could it be I didn't tighten the opsu enough? Do you have to tape the threads of the new opsu? I don't think it could be anything else that would cause the leak. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm going to take the intake off today and see if the opsu broke. The gauge in the car works and reads as it should. Maybe I just didn't tighten it enough? I'll get back on here when I look into it some more.

Got it fixed! I took the intake off. I must have not tightened the opsu when I put the intake in last weekend. It was only hand tight. Opps. I put some teflon on the threads just to be sure. I tightened it down real tight. I even have the socket for the opsu. Must have forgot to use that last time. Lesson learned. Started the car, no more leak! I'm getting good at swapping intakes now. lol
