Default MSD 2 step issue

Ok I have a small issue, my two step is staying active even with the clutch out. On top of that with the ground wire unplugged from the MSD box. The little LED isalways on. Can someone give me some help?

Bump for some help, I have a Purple with white tracer and a green wire coming off the clutch pedal position switch, which on my car is a blue connector. But I can not get the 2 step to deactivate when the clutch is off. according to GM Green wire is the CPP output and the purple wire is the starter coil wire. So how does it ground it self.

You're tapping into the wrong wire.

I just installed my MSD two-step yesterday. You do not need to run any wires into the cabin. Tap into the gray wire, pin 32 on the top, blue, connector of the PCM.
