Default Removed a useless mod :)

Today I removed this TB Spacer that was on the car when I bought her.

I have read on the forum, that they do not do anything anyways

Anybody know what brand it is?

Also my SLP lid closes perfectly now and stays latched on the passenger side

removed if not needed.just removed the air pump.I think it could be used for a pcv vacuum pump on a engine with racing rings.I have been weighing all the stuff I take off the car,its adds up.

I say keep it...mill/grind off the silly wings that are suppose to spin the incoming air and drill and tap it to accept a wet nitrous nozzle. That way you have a cheap way to mount a wet nitrous nozzle id you ever go that route...

They work on stangs but don't do anything for LS1's. Not sure of any companies that made them

They could theoretically work on something with some sort of throttle body fuel injection. They are supposed to help mix the air/fuel mixture, and that is obviously impossible on our cars since fuel is injected after the throttle body.
