Default removing ac belt

ok, i don't know if my tensioner is frozen or if i am retarded. i think that you put a wrench on the tensioner bolt and turn it clockwise to release the tensioner, correct? mine will not budge at all. the serpentine belt came off no problem. the ac belt is the one that is giving me problems. i am on the tensioner bolt too, its not like i am trying to turn the wrong pulley. any suggestions????

put the wrench/socket on the tensioner bolt with the head pointing towards the idler pulley... and try again... should be able to do it 1-handed...

don't forget you'll have to do the primary belt too, to get the a/c belt out of the way. OR, just cut the one for the a/c and save 15 minutes

Well, my tensioner was fried. I put a breaker bar on it and when it did move it was just frozen. I will get a new tensioner.
