Default Tune Up on a '98 LS1

I just bought a '98 Z28 with 180xxx miles on it. It runs great and I have no doubt the previous owner took care of it, but I want to give it a good tune up just to keep it as fresh as possible with out digging into the motor. I want a list of what guys are using these days, since it's been a couple years since I've had a LS1.

So what would you go through and tune up? List the items you'd buy.

I want to see if any products have changed.

ngk-tr55 plugs
msd wires
k&n filter
maf cleaner
seafoam treatment
aimsoil or pz platinum oil
fuel filter

and...
i just recently switched from dex cool anti freeze to the green stuff because of hearing bad things about dex cool, plus it looked like mud in my own motor...

use Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner instead of sea foam, regular paper air filter is fine, change tranny fluid and filter, change rear-end fluid, wix oil filter.

so people are still using tr555's? It already has MSD wires, I'm sure it has tr555's as well, I just didn't know if there was a newer plug and wire kit that was out there that people prefer now.

So on to oil, how people are staying away from mobile-1? I've always used it, but I hear people stay away from it...any insight?

how about fuel injector cleaner? Does that stuff work at all? Would it be worth throwing some in on the next tank of gas?

Drew, I'm running tr55s and german castrol 0w30. I just started using it because I had a lot of cold start valvetrain noise. If you don't have that issue, then I would just continue using the same oil slowsten was. Pretty much everything 01ws666 said, except maybe for the seafoam, I have no experience with that.

Cool deal, yeah I'll just keep good old mobile-1 in it, with a wix. I'm not sure how old the plugs and wires are on it, so maybe i'll change them out in the near future...It's been a little while since I've been in the game, and things are always changing. Just making sure there wasn't something better out there. Thanks for the input guys!

Well im at 170k with my 98.

DO NOT CHANGE OR TOUCH THE TRANSMISSION FLUID
If it hasnt been changed like it should the metal in the fluid is keeping the tranny alive. Change it and youll be changing a tranny here soon.

MSD Wires
NGKs
newer fixed orifice pcv valve and check for rot.
Fuel Filter. wix
Coolant and flush
Differential fluid and additive

EDIT
Youll be more worried with suspension at that age as everything starts to go at 150k.

i agree about not doing the tranny flush, ive worked at a shop for some time, and they wouldn't touch a tranny if it had over 100K miles

as for mobil 1- if its always had mobil 1 then stick with it, otherwise dont, its such a better oil that any crud in the engine is holding it together, mobil 1 will clean all the **** out and you could start having oil leaks.... if your not going to be using mobil 1, then use mobil high mileage

Heres what i am having trouble with.. I have a 99 ss and i work at auto-zone after looking into the tr55's they are copper plugs, the other part number i recieved for the tr55 lx plugs were an iridium plug... And the car from the factory takes platinum plugs so im unsure on what to do.

I would change the timing chain with at least a new LS2 chain. I'd also consider new lifters down the line. Do all of the easy stuff first like wires, plugs, fuel filter, O2's etc. Then check the suspension components. I'd bet those shocks are getting pretty worn. Also look at the trans mount bushing and torque arm bushing as they can easily be torn at that amount of mileage.
