Default Borla or Magnaflow universal muffler Question

I have an SLP dual dual thats to quiet. Don't want to drop the cash on a new cat back just for sound so I'm thinking about pulling the dual dual muffler and droping in a borla or magnaflow 3 inch straght through muffler and just make it a single driver side exit. Anyone have any sound clips of this. Looking for something throughty. I know magnaflow tends to be quiet and don't want to spend money on another quiet muffler.

Do you know if your Dual Dual is one of the one's made with the cone of silence? That may explain why it's quiet. Some of them did and didn't have the cone of silence.

Hooker Maxflow. Reasonable at light throttle, but rowdy at WOT. This thread contains a clip.

Look at the muffler test chart that's posted in the thread. They flow just about as well as straight pipe. You won't find a better flowing muffler. That's why I run one.

If you want louder, make sure to get the 14" version. The 22" is considerably quieter.
