Default Temp gauge not working...

Sorry guys..used the search and didn't really find anything relevant. And it doesn't help that I'm on a phone...

Anyway I just noticed that my temp gauge isn't working. If I turn the gkey on it does, and even after starting it up for a few seconds. But after that it just drops back down and stays there.

I did to the TB bump stop mod today, and when I first started it up the idle was kinda low and would rev itself up and down a little, also threw an SES light. Turned the car off, unplugged all 4 plugs that plug into the intake, disconnected the battery and plugged everything back.. after that it idled low for a min but has been fine ever since..

And just so I'm not mistaken, is the temp sending unit right in front of the manifold on the drivers side head?

Yes it is on the driver side head, next to the manifold/header. They are like $10-$12 at autozone. BTW I cracked my sensor when I was changing sparkplugs, and made my guage not to work. I installed a new one and all is good.
