GMMG I pipe length?

GMMG I pipe length?
To those that have installed the GMMG on a stock y-pipe I have a question.
Currently I have a LM1 clamped to the stock y-pipe with one of those cheap exhaust clamps. I want to remove the LM1 and put on a GMMG but I think that I might need to cut a couple of inches off the stock y-pipe to remove the LM1. Will the GMMG I-pipe be long enough to still attach to the stock Y-pipe or will I need to added an additional piece of pipe?
Thanks

Well my GMMG fit perfectly to the stock y-pipe & exhaust hangers.
If you take a couple of inches off, you probably won't be able to
use the stock exhaust hangers. I'm not sure if the over the axle
portion would even fit.
Your best bet is to take the LM1 apart, unclamp the y-pipe
connection, hit it with a lubricant like PB blaster & just yank.
Good luck.
