Default Can an 80mm TB fit the Edelbrock 7139?

I just bought an 80mm TB, decided I may want to grab the Edelbrock 7139 (http://www.ajusa.com/details/index/398/0/0/EDE%207139) but it mentions a 90mm opening on the front of the manifold. Would an adapter plate suffice or is that too extreme of a change from 80-90mm?

Since the opening in the manifold is bigger than you should be able to just bolt up the TB without the plate u need for the stock manifold. You could maybe smooth out the shard edge on the back of the TB so it isn’t a sharp edge but since the manifolds opening is bigger and not the TB then it shouldn’t be a big deal. Although I do suggest that you just go ahead and get a bad *** 90mm to match the manifold though. No sense in having that manifold with a mediocre 80mm imho.
