Removing Corsa clamped-on exhaust from F-body any suggestions?
I am inquiring a full Corsa off a buddy of mines SS Camaro. Its all clamped on and has maybe 10-15K miles on it maybe less. Cars never been in weather so there is no rust what so ever on it. I figure its gonna be a pain with it being clamped on anyone have anything good to offer to make my life better with removing it? Thanks so much!

If they are clamped on with saddle clamps you are in for a rough time. I think you need to just cut it or remove the right rear wheel, shock and spring and take it out in one piece.

I hope i wont have to cut. Anyone with a Corsa can step in and tell me what clamps they come with that would be great lol. I hope its a band clamp. Would heating up around where the clamp was help too?

My system came with Torco clamps. Go to www.corsaperf.com and the installation instructions show a picture of the whole system and the clamps used. Should give you an idea.

If it's clamped with u bolts use a torch to heat the metal up till its cherry red, take a big hammer using the flat side, hit it when it still red. The metal is soft when its red. Hitting it with the hammer flattens it out. This is about the only way I know how to.
