Has anybody enlarged the header bolt holes? I'm tired of these 8mm header bolts. Every set of heads I buy have atleast half of the 8mm header bolt holes coiled. Coils hanging out a thread, or somehow the coil is rolled over and won't thread... The uncoiled holes barely have thread in them... I'm sick of it.
My question is: Is there any reason why I can't coil it to 9x1.25 or even 10x1.25/50. Is there enough meat to safely do this? Or do I need to fight with these old 8x1.25 coils and put new coils in the uncoiled holes...
