Intake Question
When swapping to the ls6 intake instead of doing the coolant crossover pipe you can just chizzle off the plastic ribs underneath. But... if I were to do the fast 92 intake would I have to use the ls6 crossover pipe? Or can I chizzle the plastic ribs? Or is it even possible to just use the ls1 crossover piping on there? Thanks for any input.

I cut the ribs off my LS6 intake and reused the LS1 coolant lines when I put it on my '00.
Can't help ya on the FAST cause when I put a 90mm FAST on my CETA GM done the coolant lines for me since it is an '02

when you hammered it down, did you just bend it straight down or move it at a certain angle? Or will I be able to tell what to do with it once I get the intake on? Thanks

I hammered mine down until it was sitting on the valley cover and then tapped the corner that was hanging off the back of the valley cover down a little more

I'll have to look on my laptop. I know I have a pic of my LS1 and LS6 intake side by side and also one with the ribs off the LS6. I don't know if there is one of the coolant lines though. I'll post back whenever I get my laptop out and look

Chip off the ribs and file it smooth if you can. The factory coolant lines will fit. I used a 40 grit tiger disc on a 4 1/2" grinder and it cleaned up real well.
