anyone have truble with there magnamouth exhaust draging on ground

Default anyone have truble with there magnamouth exhaust draging on ground

i put on a magnaflow bullet in place of my slp bullet & it scrapes on the ground if u hit a bump. i do have front lowering spring in it. is there a remedy anyone has found

Yes! I but a magnaflow bullet on in place of a SLP LM1 and it sits very very low. I hated it, so I just got my magnaflow catback in today and I'll be putting that on.

It looks to me that if you cut about 1" out of the I pipe (either before or after the bullet) it would allow you to tuck the muffler up a bit more. The problem is that the magnaflow is about 2" longer than the SLP overall. That 2" has to go somewhere so it dips the exhaust down. If you cut something off somewhere it'll allow it to tuck up more.

Hope this helps. I just gave up because it looks awful and I got a deal on here for the magnaflow catback ($380 shipped, sale is still going on through RPM).
