depends on your budget and also setup... i personally cant justify spending a grand on an intake for a near stock motor....
imo.. stock= ls6 cam only= ls6 heads/cam=fast bigger cubes=fast forced induction= ls6

If your going to do alot of mods,heads,headers,ext.... than the fast is your way to go. you can pickup a 90fast on here for a good deal & port that baby. or of course if your only doing some mild mods go the cheap route & get the Ls6.

if you have stock heads and cam i would deffinetly go with the ls6...you dont need a tune and it will produce good power...personally i would never go fast until i had HEADS because iv seen cars gain almost nothing over the ls6 intake and cam only..but it does look cool when u pop ur hood

i'm with everyone else. I would get an LS6 intake if close to stock. If you plan on bigger mods or cubes later then get a fast. now they even make the 102mm fast so you might think about that.

You can make good power through an LS6, if you drive it often or daily thats what I would go with. 1K can a lot of different places to make the car faster or stronger than just the intake.

If this helps I picked up power at every point and 12-13 horsepower above 5000 RPM on a SI motor when I switched from the LS6 intake I had to a ported FAST 90. I had Jeff Creech do the swap for me. He originally thought it wouldn't make much of a difference on an engine that didn't need the extra airflow. My stock motor did not need the extra airflow but it liked the FAST intake a lot vs the LS6. Maybe that info will help you better decide if the FAST is for you or not.

I too am thinking about switching to a FAST 90, since I have HEADS/CAM and a LS6 already. I wonder how much average a FAST 90 would give over a stock LS^ with good heads/cam/headers/tune

FYI they discontinued the FAST 90/92 so they dont make them anymore, I have been looking everywhere to try and find one to buy but the FAST 102 is the new thing and the only thing it seems shops carry as far as a FAST intake... When I asked the guy how it would work on my car he said it was way overkill... I then asked what options I have now, He said to just port my LS6... Sucks but whatever we will see what happens.... Sooooo If anyone is interested im probably gonna sell my LS6 intake with the Ported TB... Im probably just gonna port a LS2 intake and change my fuel rails around a bit to get it to work...
