Default Double checking long tube parts

I'm about to order LPP long tubes to install them with the LPP duals.

Im also planning on ordering:

Motor mounts
New header gaskets
02 extensions(I've heard different things on this, my 02s are pretty much brand new, <5k miles, so I don't want to spend all that money for vette 02s)
8 spark plugs in case I break any(these are new too)

Should I order anything else, or am I good with this?

looks good to me. I threw on some MSD 8.5mm wires and stage 8 locking header bolts from WS6store.
If you have stock ls1 intake manifold and your deleting emmisions you can just use a 1 3/8ths freeze plug for the E.G.R. on intake manifold.

Is it worth spending the extra money on locking header bolts rather than reuse the stock ones?

Already put in MSD wires when I first bought the car along with new spark plugs, Im guessing around 9k miles

I see a lot of people that just reuse their stock bolts..
They don't cost much and its good piece of mind in my opinion.
I know someone with an LT1 that says he always has to re-torque his stock bolts.

The issue with the O2's in not that they are new or old.
It's the response time with the PCM/communication.
Even if you put in brand new OE units, they may throw a code.
The 'Vette unts are supposed to have a quicker heat response or someting like that.

Here's a good read;
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ough-tips.html

And there's more info in the stickies up top.

I just did the Prothane motor mounts last weekend. All I can say is, I'm sure glad I had the whole front cradle sittin' on the ground to get them in/out of there, ...

If you are doing the same, prepare to have a die-grinder with a cut-off wheel, & the 3/8" drill bit ready to go. If you're simply putting in new stock OE units, you may still get the Y-pipe bang.

I used new GM OE gaskets, & re-used the OE bolts.

Oh wow dude, I never heard about that before! Thanks!!
I hope I don't get y-pipe bang seeing as Im not using a y-pipe :p, but hopefully my true duals don't bang

Stock header bolts here too.

Don't forget to put anti-seize on the bolt and plug threads.

Alright, ordered everything.

I decided to give the extensions a try before I give all that money for new 02s which may not be needed.
Also ordered solid motor mounts instead of poly ones. (this is a damn muscle car, not a luxury mobile)
and Spark plugs + gaskets

only need the headers now!

i tried extensions and they last about 2 weeks.... i ended up getting the vette 02s from Bosch.... some run extensions with no problems at all, i was not so lucky...
the motor mounts took the longest for me. i ended up having to grind the driver side bolt to a point and hammering it into place.
as far as headers go, i have LPP ones as well, they went in like butter... my only complaint is the driver side primaries vibrate against the motor mount pedestal, but i got over it, i'll be getting solid mounts soon so it doesnt bother me...
i reused my stock header bolts, though looking back i wish i would have waited for the money for ARP studs...

my .02
