A trick that's used with stainless headers is to wipe them down with vodka prior to the first start up. Supposedly, it causes them to get a golden color. I'd think it would work with chrome as well.

Lmao. I remember making this thread when I was a broke college kid. Never got the BBK's. My Vette has ARH's though and they are great.
