Default Ram Air hood and K&N intake

I have the ss ram air hood on my car and the k&n fipk air intake system everything works fine but im wondering is it possible to seal it so air just comes threw the hood or is that a bad idea. I dont know much on this some info would be helpful.

Thanks

the hood basically has no effect on hp even sealed...the airflow is not enough, taken from the wrong location (1 in off the hood) and has to many bends and turns...

check this out for real ram air gains...sux2bu is a good setup too...
