Default 243 heads on LS1 whats needed

What is needed to put 243 heads on LS1?

What gasket is good (plan to spray n20 someday)?

Which headbolts? I have 2004 GTO but I have heard that different sizes that year

Any good valve covers that look good decent price out there?

you need to get the bolts for a 04 LS and thats done. i think your valve covers should swap over from what you have on your GTO (i thought the GTO's got the 243's )

Which were 2005+. The 04 GTO is regarded as the Bastard Child of GTOs for being the only one with the LS1

As far as head gaskets, you can either go with stock GM MLS gaskets or if you're looking to squeeze every pony out of your setup, get a set of Cometics with a .040'' compressed height.

For head bolts, you can get a set of new stock head bolts (do no reuse yours) or what I would do (especially with nitrous in your future), a set of ARP head studs. It may be overkill but that's just the way I like to do things.

Oh and your valve covers will swap over.

3.910'' bore p/n 119-C5475-040 at Thunder Racing.

Nice summary, I should've just done it that way. That's what happens at about 4 in the morning. Insomnia is a ****.
