Stole this info from another thread, everything looks accurate to me. Now the real question is what goals do you have in mind for your car (dyno numbers, ETs). What mods are already done to your car? Tell me that and I can point you in the right direction.

No l92's for you if you still on the ls1. I would suggest some ported 5.3's or 243's from PRC for a good budget head. Also you need to find out which heads and cam you are going to run and get a convertor based off that.

Easiest way would be PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads and a cam with at least 228 degrees of duration and around .590" of lift. TSP 228 and torquer2 come to mind.

I'd probably go 3600 with the stall speed as well.

well ya if i had 2500 to spend on this combo i would love to go to texas speed but i am on a tight budget and am trying to piece together this combo from the classified section lol .with the heads and cam what else needs to be replaced push rods ,oil pump,?So basically im looking for ported 243's or 317s, now would it be worth it for me if they are stock 317s with good valves and springs ?

I just picked up a set of Patriot CNC'd 243 heads with a 228/232 cam from the classifieds here, also got springs and pushrods and upgraded to ported LS6 oil pump and Ls2 chain while I was in there.
I already had LS6 intake, granitelli MAF, kooks LT, catted y, borla. And its an A4.
It made 392rwhp on load bearing dyno and I have 20x10 rear wheels, I was told it would be ~8-10% more (~430ish) on a dynojet and the wheels cost me some hp as well.
The graph is pretty flat for both hp and torque and the car pulls pretty good.
With the fast 90/90...you should easily be in your hp goals.

317s are good heads for boost. The will need too be milled significantly to make good power on your setup because they have 72cc combustion chambers which would drop your compression ratio about 1 full point.

The H&C, springs and pushrods for $1050.
Ported LS6 oil pump, LS2 timing chain, gaskets, and bolts ~$380.
Dyno tune $450.

Here's a pic of the wheels and the dyno graph too. Like I said, I know my rear wheels are heavy and the shop said it would easily be 400+ on the load-bearing dyno if I had 17-18" wheels.
