I dont know if its hurting anything at all but what the heck is this? Its just attached to the return fuel line on my vette. Its not plugged or anything.
The part number is Delphi 997277. Should I just plug this return line? This is on my vette in the sig.

Its an evap purge solenoid. It has its own seperate hard line running from the tank to the engine compartment. As as fumes build in your gas tank, your tank used a MAP sensor in the tank to tell the PCM when to release the pressure.
The purge solenoid opens to release the gas fumes into your intake manifold to be burned. Its supposed to simply be run into the intake, typically a port next to the throttle body.
