Default My new Edelbrock headers are here.

Just received my new set of edelbrock SS headers. PN 65701. Got them for a bit under 600 shipped. Heres a couple pics:

They clear the k-member fine. I might have to move my PS rack around a bit so the steering shaft will clear, I will find out when I get everything back in the car.

Here's a link to my album with a bunch more pics of fitment/etc..

i have the same headers, they will clear the steering rack and shaft fine. one thing tho, either have the collectors tack welded to the tubes, or put some of the hasp style clamps on them. mine kept blowing off at WOT and i had to weld them.

I hope they clear! I replaced my PS rack last year and it rubbed on the motor mount, I thought it was hitting my old headers.. I got the rack so it will clear the mount now.

I haven't decided if i will weld them or clamp them yet. Where did you put your o2 bungs? I'm thinking of ordering and extra bung and plug for a wideband.

Any idea of what these brackets in the bottom of this pic are for?

my O2 bungs are in the extention pipes just after the collector. however, i bought my headers used and the guy before me ruined the extention pipes cutting and hacking them into an existing exhaust. im going with a custom TD setup when i get mine back on the road, so im going to drill into the collector itself right inside the merge. right before where it expands into the exhaust system itself. i figure that will get it as close to the heat source as it can and still monitor all 4 cylinders on that bank

That's where I was thinking about putting the bungs, not sure about the third one tho. Where is the best spot for a wideband?

It's a custom Y with flowmaster merge my friend and I made.
