Default DMH cutout crapped out on me ...

So I noticed my cutout has been extremly noisy the past two days, then yesterday night I hear it struggling to open, But it just wont.
(makes a nasty sound)

is this a easy fix? is there anyting I can do?

Im bummed about it, anyone deal with DMH on the warranty of these things?

sounds like the motor is done.....check for any loose connections then call or email DMH. All DMH cutouts have a 4 year replacement warranty.

BUMP to the top,

Has anyone on here delt with DMH on warrenty issues?

They told me to send over the cutout and they will repair it.
I mailed it the 11th of may . Tacking number says they got it the 14th .

Its been a while now , Ive emailed them a few times and got no response. Also Tried calling but could get through .

Are they blowing me off or are always this slow to respond ? to busy to respond?

I've had to return two different cutouts to DMH for warranty work... they will stand behind thier product however they aren't very proactive. Call them until you get someone on the phone, explain the situation and that you've been waiting. I had to follow up both times a few days after to ensure they'd shipped me a replacement; one time they had not. It's a bit of a PITA that they arent proactive but I love the product

calling them is a better idea, Dave is a busy man, from what i have read and seen DMH stand behind thier product
