Default LS1, Bigger Brakes?

Im not sure if its just me, but I think my camaro has bigger disc and catepillars on the front tires? Do they come with bigger brakes on the front than the rear? Since i had a v6, im not sure if the transition from a v8 affected my mind but everything is bigger and better in this car

Usually brakes are bigger on the front of a car because they have to work more. This applies to nearly every car, and our f-bodies are no exception.

Not sure, but I would think the V8s got better brakes all around.
