Default help identify oil leak... see PICS

hi everybody

please help me identify these parts leaking... so i can tell my mechanic exactly wut to fix
i took these pics after wiping it down and went for a drive and found that

its dripping or seeping out from the crack between these two parts ???








anybody know what this leak is from? and wut i might need to replace? thanks in advanced y'all!! i appreciate the help

Let the mechanic diagnose the problem that way if he is wrong then you're not paying for the labor. But to answer your question..it is leaking from in between your oil pan and the Transmission bell housing. The leak could be coming from the oil pan gasket, rear main seal or your transmission input shaft, or a combination of the 3 parts.

I don't know, could it be an oil sender unit leaky?

i have the same pro........narrowed down to............front cover..........oil pan......rear seal.........gunna pull the engine and replace em all

Its either the rear main seal or the rear side of the oil pan.

I'm going to guess and say it's from the engine.

Pull the trans and flywheel, take more photos, get a better answer.

isnt that a inspection cover right there. pop that off and look inside, you may be able to see in there with a good flashlight.
