Default 4150 Throttle Body Enough for a High RPM 403?

I'm changing my setup from a LPE ported FAST90/90 to a Single Plane setup and it looks like the Vic Jr and Super Vic are both 4150 flanges so in order to run the bigger 4500 I'd need to run an adapter plate. I know the FAST is capable of flowing around 1100-1200cfm and I'm wondering if the Accufab 4150 will be enough air supply for my 403 with TFS235's and a 254/258 113lsa cam?

Also which would you guy's use a Super Vic or Vic Jr? Super Vic flows ALOT better.

4150 will be fine unless you plan to set records. Super Victor ported to match your heads. You will also need a single plane specific cam if you want a perfect combination. Single planes like a bit more overlap.

That particular cam has 30* at .050" of overlap... That's 5* more than a TREX v2. Still like more than that even? Will this cam that I have be awful with the single plane? I've heard numerous guy's tell me to drop the intake duration down to the mid 240's and leave the exhaust alone an run it on a tighter LSA like a 108-110. Sound about right? I'm more fond of a wider 8-10* split anyway.

Im running a similar setup, I had Vengeance custom grind a cam for my 364" LS2, 247/251 .660/.660 110+2, this is still hydr roller. Im running a super vic with a F.A.S.T TB that flows 1375cfm. Maybe this will help

A little less intake duration would be good, but a narrower LSA would be even better and would make more power b/c of that change than the intake duration change, IMO.

A 4150 flange will be fine. 4500 is needed for much larger motors and/or higher RPM.

My cam is a 239°/247° .624"/.624" 110° +2° (108° ICL) on a slightly larger motor than you have. You have much better heads than I have, so I bet you are right on with your 240°ish intake duration and a 110° LSA coment.

I'm going to see how it perform's with this cam first before I pull it out for a new one. I got my Vic Jr in today and I'll probably start porting on it after I can get a template of my head flange to port match it to the heads.

Hopefully this intake and tb will be good gain's over the FAST90

Okay I'm bringing this back from the dead, I just started the car up today and will probably be tuning on it this weekend some. The motor still has the 254/258 .623/.623 113lsa LSL lobed comp hydraulic cam. I'm more than likely going to spec the cam myself this time around and look into something along the lines of a 246/258 110lsa LSL lobe cam with a ICL around 106-108. What are your guy's thoughts on some carb cathedral port specs to make this motor really sing at the drag strip? I want it to perform NA but I want it to respond to a good size shot as well.

Ultimate goal is 10.25@133+ NA and then it will get hit with a 250 shot later.
