Default Where to buy cheapest 160 thermostat?

As stated I am looking for the cheapest place to pick up a 160 t-stat for a ls1?so far speed Inc has the lowest price at 45$ anyone have info on something cheaper? Thanks for any help given.

Autozone has them for $29. They're the motorad brand. The same brand slp and hypertech use. Check it out.

Then don't get a low temp stat. Get a fan switch or have it tuned to have the fans kick off at a certain time. You will lose efficiency if you cut down the operating temperature too much. Most engines today are designed to operate within a "normal" temperature range of about 195 to 220 degrees F. A relatively constant operating temperature is absolutely essential for proper emissions control, good fuel economy, and performance.

The tune was my second thought but I'm afraid of the fans being overworked! If I do change the fan setting is around 175 180 a reasonable temp to turn on? My car just runs at 205 or so when prior to my pump change it ran at 190 195?

It's a dummy gauge in the cluster. Do you have a plumbed mechanical temp gauge to get 205°?
