Water Pump/Coolant
I replaced my waterpump about 3,500 miles ago with a pump from autozone. I replaced the the gaskets and made sure all the old was off, also put in a new t-stat. I refilled the radiator and it was not sucking any fluid down, and started to overheat, so I figured air got in the line so i pulled my car up an incline and it sucked down all the fluid.
Now after you drive the car around 60 miles or so the fluid level is about 1 inch or so below the radiator cap after it sits overnight. I took the cap off and cranked the car and about after 10 minutes the line that comes from the motor to the radiator (the one you do the coolant bypass mod) starts pouring into the radiator filling it back up some. The coolant bottle is also empty when this happens. Then I have to refill it, and this happens all over agian.
What is going on here?

for mine I just run the car with the cap off to purge the air... From my experience, the coolant will begin to rise after a little while and putting the cap back on at this point seems to work pretty well. Hope that helps!
