Sounds great, though I can't decide which one sounds better to me...

How do you have the exhaust piping ran for the Spintech?

I cut off the 24" bullets, and hung the spintechs in the same spot as the bullets and made some pipe to fit between the difference where i cut them off.

I like the Spintech's personally. My cousin has the catback on his 1992 z28 and it sounds sick.

I didn't know there was enough room under a 4th gen to put Spintech mufflers on there. That's why I thought most people ran bullets for the space confinements.

I am thinking about trying to find room for some cutouts after the X before the mufflers. just to go along with the hillbilly **** I get with the car. plus it sounds nasty with the mufflers cutoff after the x. we will see how it goes.

I was thinking of just running an open x pipe for the track. Would it be possible to put flanges on the mufflers so you can just un bolt them?

I would say so, but my only worry would be of the x pipe wanting to fall down from not being held up in the rear...

I am getting the car out of the trailer tonight, needs a little tune up and maybe do my truck coil swap.

so vids a little later tonight of idle...

as far as how loud they are, its not quite, I just got sick of my blown out bullet mufflers thumping in my head. I dont get any drone with these mufflers, which is the reason for switching, plus it just sounds plain badass!

They sound f'cking great! Prior to putting my Sweet Thunders back on I was looking for videos of an LS1 with Super Pro Streets, but couldn't find any. You made a great choice with these mufflers.

Ran across the video of your car on youtube, really considering swapping my Dynomax bullets out for the Spintechs.

Are you running the 3"in/3"out mufflers? Part number 9445 off the Spintech website?

Old thread, I know. But how did these work for you at the track? Looking at the videos, it looks like you lost about 0.5 seconds. I know its only one video, but is that consistent with what you have seen overall?

The track and weather conditions were pretty far apart from those 2 runs.

I always wanted to try the super pro spintechs. But always heard they choke the exhaust up a bit.

That is what I am trying to confirm. I've seen mixed reviews on this, and I wish I could find some concrete proof either way. I really love the way these sound, but if they are power killers, then forget it.
