Default best bang for the buck headers or stall?

I'm trying to get the most performance for my money and wondered if putting on pacesetter longtubes and ory and dynotune would be more beneficial then leaving the manifolds on and putting a yank ss3600 with trans cooler and tune would be.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Stall is worth it's weight in dough!! $$$$$$$ Better mod by a long shot. I would call Kenny over at PTC and let him know what you have and what you are planning to do to your car. He can Custom build you a converter for your car. I have had the PTC in my car since it was a bolton car. Now that it is a H/C/I full weight car I went 10.90@123mph. I now have suspension and a TH350 tranny in it and hoping for some better times.
Here is the link to there website: http://www.ptcrace.com/

Like I said call Kenny. I wouldn't run anything else in my car and for the price you can't beat a PTC converter.

With one of there converters built for your car I would bet you could shave a full second or more off your E.T., I did! As a bolton car I knocked a full second from 13.60@104 to 12.60@107 with a 3600rpm stall converter and a tune. Just be sure to get a good B&M cooler and a tune.

If you are worried about customer service issues with PTC then check out this thread I started just last week. Top Notch company man.. Good luck!

Both great mods but a stall will be the better bang for the buck mod on an auto

+1 for the stall unless you drive on the highway a lot. You'll like the headers up top a lot more.

a stall won't affect your highway mileage, the stall will lock just like stock at highway cruise over 45mph or so (depending on tune setttings)

If the tranny isn't built I wouldn't put in a stall just to save myself the headache of it going out
