Default Exhaust flanges, what do you like?

Building an exhaust for my Trans Am. Have a couple ideas of what to use for flanges to get rid of all the damn slip fittings! WHat do you guys like better?

From headers into the Y-Pipe
-Ball and socket flange OR
-v-band

From y-pipe into catback
-2-bolt flange like the corvettes OR
-v-band

What do you think and why? Thanks!

V band is better in the long rund, but ball an socket is nice cause you can cheat the angle alittle on the piping.

The down side to ball and socket is the over time the flange part gets beat up if you tighten and loosen a few times.

V bands are nice, but costly. Most of the time I use a 4 bolt flange I designed. Easy to get to the bolts, lots of ground clearance.

V-bands hands down. I just had a buddy weld some 4" v-band clamps on my Mufflex catback so I can strip it off easy when I go to the track. They're easy to remove and seal up tight so you don't have to worry about leaks.
