hey guys i have found a set of STOCK 5.3 heads for 100 dollars and a set of 799 castings also STOCK for 500 . I dont know if they are the same heads as each other or not but i will have either ones ported and polished before the get put on the car (ls1 camaro). help me out guys, car has ls6 intake, megadeath cam, 1 7/8 long tubes, ory, slp loudmouth.... the really loud one which ever it is... tell me what you all this is best, the car is staying at stock 347 cubes.

Neither set is a good deal. 799 castings go for 400-450 in the classifieds often, and there would be A LOT of work to get those 5.3 heads anywhere near the flow of a stock 243/799 casting. Basically you'll be dumping more than $500 into the 5.3 heads.

thanks for the answer guys... really tho... internal haha i always thought of heads as bolt on technically oh well guess thats they way us ex import guys are haha

Every part technically bolts on to the engine. But heads deal with the internal working of the engine, hence why it belongs in the internal section.

yeah don't buy either of those
