Default Getting ready for LT install

I am going with Pacesetter LT's and a 3" Catted Y. One question that I have is my car only has 29,000 miles on it. Is there a need to replace the motor mounts at this point once I take the manifolds off?

Thanks in advance

There isn't a need to get them replaced, but it is highly recommended by everybody who has done a longtube install. Even though it's low miles, all those years of the weight of the engine sitting on the mounts means they are probably sagging.

Just make sure you save everything you take off. That's what I'm going to do just in case down the road I want it back to 100% stock.

If you want to keep original parts "just in case" you can buy a second set of clamshells to hack up from a few vendors. That way if you do decide to go back to 100% original, your current clamshells will be ready to bolt back in place.

An alternate idea, spohn solid motor mounts. They are about the easiest install wise, they look really nice, and the vibration is not near as bad as people make it seem.

Give it a bit, if it still hasn't, TSP has a few reps that float around here, just PM one if they don't chime in some time today. It is the weekend.
