Default 12V + dash lighting

I am looking for the 12V + dash lighting to hook up a few guages. I am going to run the wires to the fuse box by the drivers door. I only want these guages to be lit up when the headlights are on. I will use a spade connector to go to the fuse box. Here are a few questions:

1. Where should I place the spade connector in this fuse box?

2. Can I run two wires to the same space connector and then only plug in one spade connector into the fuse panel (I am hooking up two guages)? To go along with this question, can I hook 3 engine grounds to the same connector and bolt it down in one location (this will eliminate running 3 separate wires all the way to the ground)?

3. Where is a good engine ground? I know one is by the battery but I didn't know if there was one closer. My fuel pressure guage instructions say to use engine grounds.
