i got a 99 z28 A4, i just wanna know stock how high do these motors spin up to because it shifted at 6k last night and thought they only go up to 5500

redline is 6000, fuel shut off or factory rev limiter is 6200. usually on stock auto cars, they shift around 5700. the tach is probably off a little bit or you may have broke traction when it shifted, just enough to get the extra few RPM's.
