dont waste your money on paint and get them powdercoated. they may cost a little more but they will last and look nice. i powdercoat and the powder deff holds up nice to the heat. better then any paint that i have come across personally.

Yeah, definately go the powder coat route if you can. A bit more money but it is a better coating and will last better.

If it is out of your price range though, any 1300-2000 degree paint can work. Either a good hardware store or an auto parts store will have it. The problem is that to fully work you have to cure them which means having an over to fit them in and that will heat to 600 degrees.

Some header paint can be cured on your vehicle, but it won't be as good as through an oven. As such, powder coating would be the best bet.

i sand blasted off the factory paint and got some rustolium high temp primer then picked up two cans of rustolium high heat paint and it seams to be working good so far.

at that point though its almost work the extra for the ceramic coated ones or powder coating them.

I have seen some good results with header paint and then baking it. I think it was the VHT flameproof paint...
