Default A little different CME

I've always wanted the CME. IMO it's the sexiest thing you can have on a Camaro. I'm not a fan of the CME valance, I think it makes the bumper look fat or oversized. I have the factory sport appearance package, which I absolutely love the looks of. I was worried about seeing too much pipe or looking out of place. I'm very happy with how it turned out. They are mounted at the same height and depth as my stock tips. I now have my exhaust complete. Pacesetter headers, catted Y, custom split after axle, dual Dynomax bullets, and CME. It sounds amazing with this cam. Here's a couple pics from the phone, they lost a little quality when I edited the license plate out. The car, of course, needs a bath too. I know some people wont like it but I couldn't be more happy with it.

**EDIT** SOUND CLIP OF THIS SET UP IS NOW IN MY SIG

IMO, the only thing that makes the CME tips work is the CME valence - it effectively hides the bends, and gives the tips a place that they look like they belong. With your current valence, it just looks like the tips were just tossed up in there without regard for overall fit and finish.

But if you like it, that's all that matters.

I kinda like it. I'd paint the exhaust pipes up to the elbows going into the tips though but I do like the idea.

looks GOOD! and different i like it. I agree CME is pure sex on a camaro and that it really needs a valance but thats legit, a lot better than most camaro's i see. Now time for some blackouts, smoked side markers/brake light, and composite rear fill in lettering.

Looks unfinished. At the very least the tips would have to sit flush with the bumper and the pipes leading to them blacked out.

It's your car if you like it like that keep it.

Thanks, see what I was thinking is: 99% of the people on the street have never seen an actual SS with the CME & valance, so to those 99% it's just a unique set of tips. I understand that a majority of people that do know what it was intended to be thinks its awkward. That's why it took me 3 or 4 years to ponder the idea, didn't know if I liked it myself.

My tails, side markers, and break light are tinted lightly with vht. The sun lights them up enough in a lot of pics that you cant even tell. Not a fan of the fill ins though.

Thanks, I was going to put black header paint on the elbows originally but after I seen how everything was tucked up nicely I didn't think it was necessary. I still may do it. You can only see the pipes at a few angles. I was crouching when I took these pics.

Looks good to me, but agree with painting the elbows to hide them a bit more but as you mentioned. The pics were taken at angles with you crouched down to the floor. Great looking car though man, i like what you did with it.

Got some under car pics of the exhaust setup itself?

An actual pic of your camaros rear would help a bit rather than a side look.
Im not a fan of the ground effects of the RS, but I do love the spoiler.
You do have a great looking camaro thought, but CME with the valance= ****!

Thanks man! I don't have any pics underneath, I wish I did. It's a damn clean install, we have an exhaust place here that kicks ***.
