Default FAST 102 on stock internals

Curious if by switching out the LS6 intake for a Fast 102 would cause any low end torque loss? Car is a 2002 Z28 with full bolton's

honestly, if u plan on doin H/C, maybe get one, but thats still kinda putting the cart before the horse. Saw a guy at the track with bolt-ons fast 90/90 and skinnies one time, he was tellin me he expected to run 11s with the intake on thier, hell no, 12.8-13.2 all night. I would put the money towards H/C first. Im cam-only right now and the LS6 is still plenty enough for my motor. When i do the heads i plan on the 102mm, but not before as i wouldnt see much of a gain, especially for the dough it costs.

you won't lose any low end ,mite gain 15 hp.the ls6 intake will work up to the 450 hp level.what the spec on the cam and heads.a EPS cam is $400 and mite add 20 hp and TQ.

Gotta agree with gyrene. With the cost of a 102mm and TB, you are just as well off putting that towards a set of 243's, a port job, and a cam. Then do the 102mm where you'll see really good gains instead of an extra 10-15hp.

My reasoning for not doing a H/C swap is because if I ever sell the car, the majority of people that might be interested in buying it will probably want something that hasen't been ripped open..that's what I've seen and experienced in the past at least. I realize the 1,400 dollars is only going to net me another 10-15, but the resale value of the 102 will be decent if I ever want to swap back on the LS6 and sell the 102. My biggest concern was if I was going to lose out on torque down low w/ the 102. Looks as if not which is a good thing. I would love to buy a 92/92 but nobody wants to part with one or they go up for sale and are gone like that. If any of you guys want to make the plunge over to the 102 and have a 92 you wanna sell let me know!

I ran 11.0 with stock internals and had 1.45 60ft w/ a FAST 78. I would'nt go that big without at least having a good size cam, otherwise your 60' will suffer

I would stay w/ what you got until you get some bigger mods...you might see an additional 15-20 w/ the fast but it'll cost $$$
