Default E-fans on trucks

Anybody put the LS1 fans on their 5.3 or 6.0 truck? I'd like to see how the fan brackets were bolted to the truck. Got an extra set i might wana put on my 6.0, just gotta make brackets. Also want to know what gains etc. you guys got from it.

Let me know,
Thanks, Sam

The 5.3 and 4.8 trucks have the smaller 28" radiator that the LS1 fans will mount to with a custom bracket.
If you get the 34" radiator with the 05-06 Truck Electric fans it is a easy bolt on, and looks better.

If you go over to PerformanceTrucks.Net you will see a lot of mods specific to the trucks, and pics of electric fan installs.

Stay over here to see real good info on the Engine Modifications
(keep in mind that the Camaro and Vette guys don't really talk to us truck guys, just don't be offended, it's OK)

As far as gains... no real HP gains, but not as annoying as the mechanical fans and there is a TON more room in the engine bay.

Good Luck

Whats needed, bracket wise, for the 2500 HD's that come with the 6.0's? Havent measured the radiator so not sure if its 28 or 34 in.
