Default Pacesetter LT's with Tsp ORY and LM1 catback

Just got the car finished. Had a shop bend the Y pipe a lil for a better fit.

Car sounds good but is a little raspy when on the throttle.

Has anyone traded out their LM1 resonator for a muffler.

If so which muffler will fit in its place.

I hated the sound of my LM1. The only time it sounded good was WOT. I ended up getting the texas speed rumbler and put a Bassani inline muffler on it before my CME and it sounds great.

yea that dont help though cause you changed the whole exhaust system.

I just wanna change the muffler that is inline already.

Any suggestions.

I was thinking of buying the magna flow catback or flowmaster catback.

there are many threads about this. my advice is to find a better cat back and sell your slp to help pay for it. if you like loud then get a quiet cat back and through in a cut out.

I have heard it and it sounds a hell of a lot better than lm. Have you thought about the slp power flo conversion?

I've heard of the Dynomax and Borla bullets fitting inline. Never heard of morroso working tho lets us know how that turns out!

I just installed High flow cats for emission purposes and it helped the sound alot with the rasp.

I swapped my LM2 muffler with a Borla XR-1 muffler. I love it. I prefer it over GMMG even and every swears GMMG sounds the best, but comparing my exhaust to my brother's who has lt's, ory, high flow magnaflow cat in the I-pipe and GMMG, his is raspy, mine isn't raspy at all. I'll probably keep this exhaust until I can find a way to do true duals out the rear...

Was it much quiter than the LM2? I still get constant attention from the authorites although mine is a LM1.

It's quieter and cleaner sounding. It's deep, but not as loud down low as the LM systems.

It's comparable loudness wise at WOT to the LM2. It has that borla sound to it with the loudness as the LM2 minus the raspiness...

Just finished installing my moroso spiral flow in place of the lm1 resonator and wow what a difference. There is zero rasp and has a great deep tone to it. I even gained a little ground clearance. All in all I highly recommend this muffler to anyone looking to replace there lm1-2 resonator.

Can you post a clip please. I have a ms3 cam, lt, tsp catted y, and lm 1 and I love the sound but it is a little too loud when I have to leave in the morning and **** off all my neighbors.

Thanks
