Default Slp Manual Fan Switch

I just installed a fan switch from Slp that lets you turn on your fans manually. I was just wondering how much your engine can cool from the fans being turned on.

Running the fans with the engine running will really only cool the engine to the thermostat temp, which I believe is 195 f.

thats why you buy a 160 t stat... i run my fans manually while the car is running and i can keep the coolant temp around 170-180 and thats in hot whether. its also nice to keep my trans coolers cool which in turn keeps the tranny cool

Same here
Although I will say it's still good to use at the track for cool downs.
