Default 5.3L from a 2006 Hybrid Sierra...Differences?

GM is buying back their "Hybrid" trucks due to battery replacement issues and a few of these trucks are showing up at dismantlers. I'm considering a 30,000 mile 5.3 that will come out of a 2006 Pickup that has the "Hybrid" system. The Vin has a T which is an LM7 engine.

I understand that the hybrid system does the starting and charging in the transmission area and that the power steering system is electric. Other than that I know nothing about the system.

My questions are:

Is the engine the same as any other LM7?

Is the block machined to accept a standard starter?

Is the engine wire harness pretty much the same as any other LM7 harness?

Is the Flex Plate different?

Did I miss something?

Thanks,

Ken
