What to put in front of an LS3 intake on a 408?
Hey all. I have an LS3 headed 408 with intake that I will be putting into my camaro soon. I was wondering what the best setup would be with a nitrous kit. I was thinking a plate kit to a 96mm or greater TB, a TSP 100mm MAF, and a FTP 104mm lid. Has anyone done this and if so, please post pics.

Depends on how much you are looking to spray. If you are just hitting a single stage small shot a plate would be fine. If you are trying to step up to a bigger shot, you might look into a fogger. Contact Nitrous Outlet or HSW and talk w/ them about what you are looking to do w/ the nitrous and they should be able to tell you what you need.
As far as the MAF and lid go, I think you are on the right track. Just make sure you have an experienced tuner get the MAF setup for you. Not just anyone can tune that setup.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

I plan on a SS 175 hit. I have a stand alone fuel cell as well. If I decide to go bigger later I will go with a DP setup but for right now I'm going to keep it rather simple. Just induction from the intake forward is going to cost almost $1K. Can I go larger than 90mm with the TB and plate on an LS3 intake? How much can I open the LS3 opening?
