Default headers?

So i got convinced to not get a tune until i get a better exhaust system.
So ive been looking around for some headers cant decide on QTP's race style headers, kooks headers, or american racing headers. which ones will give me better gains? Is one proved to be better than the other need some help.

they will probably give you relatively the same hp gains. you are paying for quality and fitment after that. depends on how much you want to spend. i have qtp's are they are very nice headers and the cheaper of the three. cant go wrong with any of them though.

i have KOOKS. very nice headers.


ive heard great things about ARH lately.

You should see pretty much the same gains from each header. If you have the extra money and want to do it once, then go with ARH or Kooks. For less $$$, the Pacesetter's are another good way to go.

The difference is the exhaust

Headers + catback 3 =gain (I like the sound)
Headers +True duals = more gain (but uncomfortable for me)
Headers + cutout open = more more gain but depends on the mods

im going with true duals and im leaning towards arh headers. do they fit the best?

There should be zero issues with fittment with the ARH or Kooks.

Based on user reviews, the AR headers and the Kooks headers both fit very well/tuck nicely. I think the power gains for ARH/Kooks/QTP will be very similar, but I'd favor ARH or Kooks. Personally, I have ARH and love them.

I would go with ARH or Kooks, I've heard a lot of people having leaks with the QTP's. If you're a cheap *** like I was before, pacesetters work fine, but I had leaks all the time and eventually took them off. I was going to buy ARH for my current car, but there is a nice GP on kooks that makes them a little more affordable right now so I'm going with those.
