cutout question??
I am looking into putting pacesetter race headers and a tsp ory on my trans am. would a cut out be worth the hassle to put in as far as hp gain? where would be the best location to put it for max gain?

It's worth it if you cam it or do a Heads/cam combo. Straight up bolt on it's not worth it IMO. The gains are very minimum. If and when you do buy one, I suggest DMH Electric cut outs. Quality product. Here is my past set up w/ a DMH. http://www.streetfire.net/video/adva...-cu_694817.htm

My cutout is in my intermediate pipe.
It shows gains of 8rwhp and 0rwtq over my magnaflow cat-back. It has been tested on two different dynos.
It is worth it to me because it sounds cool at idle and at WOT. The 8hp gain is nice too.

Sound wise w/o a cam I think they sound like poop. Plus the HP gains I've seen 1-3 at the rear. The money spent and labor putting one in isn't worth it. Now obviously with a cam it will sound nastier and pick up more HP. I picked up 17rwh with my AI custom cam on my LTx.
