I'm busy buying up gaskets and bolts that I need for my head swap, I have a 98 which normally has the graphite gaskets. Can I use the 99+ metal and rubber water pump gasket? I don't think it would hurt anything but I just want to make sure. The graphite ones are such a pain in the ***, I want to avoid putting them back on.

I dont see why it wouldn't work. All LS1 F body water pumps are the same right.

u can use the multi layer head gaskets and 99 plus water pump gaskets
