Default Fab project...Dual Mode mufflers from Corvette on an FBody??? Possible

Does anyone know of anyone who has done this before? I'd sure like to find a set and throw them on. Quiet cutouts, and take control of them up front! No more leaking and rattling noises from butterfly cutouts.

So...
Anyone done or seen this done before?
Does anyone know approximate dimensions on the mufflers themselves?

Thanks!

I thought the better cutouts didn't leak...is this not the case?

You name the brand, they leak. The louder your exhaust, the less you will notice it, but they ALL LEAK. The sponsors can scream at the top of their lungs that if you buy their's, they won't leak, but they will. I ran a stock muffler for about 2 years recently to get the around town sound noise down and nothing shows off the leak like a stock muffler. DHM, QTP, ****, all the way back to McCord. They all leak and it gets worse with time as carbon builds up and the motor loses holding power. I don't think I am going to get what I want, so I am looking at quiet muffler(s) now.

I have no idea where you would fit them, they are pretty big. If you want quiet/good flow why not opt for a Hooker, Dual-Dual or a 2OTL? The powerflo conversion from SLP is also very quiet

Are the cutouts in the Z06 mufflers activated by a solenoid signaled by the ECU/PCM, or is it all mechanical?

I think they are vacuum operated.
